Voïvod have now joined forces with metal film director Felipe Belalcázar to make their official documentary, We Are Connected.
Voïvod's Hypercube Sessions began last August with a blazing live set from RadicArt studios and continues with Voïvod's Hypercube Session 2, performing for the first time ever the album Nothingface on May 30. The date also coincides with Michel “Away” Langevin's Birthday! Hypercube Session 3 features the classic Dimension Hatröss album.
In these times of uncertainty and where live shows are a rarity, Voivod are coming back with a new live album “Lost Machine” and a new beer in collaboration with Hopfenstark Brewery.
A new video for the live-track “Overreaction” is being launched today.
Like the video for the first single ‘The Lost Machine’, the footage comes from the Montréal Jazz Fest 2019 and the audio is from the Québec City Summer Fest 2019, where the entire live album was recorded.
The album was recorded in Québec City during the worldwide touring cycle for the band’s latest studio album “The Wake” and will be released on November 27th, 2020 worldwide via Century Media Records.
